A litigator who has tried in excess of 75 jury cases to verdict, Mr. Etchevers became Chief Trial Attorney for San Francisco's City Attorney after holding varied responsibilities which included leadership of the City's Complex Litigation Team.

Since joining Hassard Bonnington in 1986, Mr. Etchevers has concentrated on the assessment and defense of legal professional liability and medical malpractice claims. An outgrowth of this practice has been the representation of physicians facing professional discipline.

Mr. Etchevers, a graduate of California State University, San Francisco (B.A., 1969), and Hastings College of the Law, University of California (J.D., 1972), has also served as an instructor at Hastings Center for Trial & Appellate Advocacy.
