Specializing in products liability matters, Mr. Frieder is particularly involved in medical device litigation. His litigation practice also includes commercial, construction, and insurance coverage matters.

Representing businesses as well as individuals, his experience includes both complex and multidistrict litigation, service as regional counsel and on a National Counsel team, and representation of a manufacturer in landmark "market share" liability litigation.

Mr. Frieder is a member of the Product Liability Committee and the Drug & Medical Device Committee of the Defense Research Institute, and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California.

Recognized as the MEDMARC Defense Attorney of the Year in 1995, Mr. Frieder is a member of MEDMARC's Loss Prevention Resource Group.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison (B.A., 1975) and Golden Gate University (J.D., 1980), Mr. Frieder serves as an arbitrator, Superior and Municipal Courts, City and County of San Francisco.
