Practicing in the areas of business law and health care law, Mr. Goldberg attends to business transactions and consultations for health care and other clients.

Mr. Goldberg is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (B.A., 1982) and Hastings College of the Law, University of California (J.D., 1985).

His clients include medical groups, health plans, physicians and professional associations, as well as other participants in the provision of health care.

Mr. Goldberg counsels medical groups and individual physicians on compliance with California, federal self-referral, and anti-kickback laws, as well as handling mergers, acquisitions and other contracting and compliance matters.

In the regulatory field, Mr. Goldberg handles Knox-Keene Act and Department of Insurance licensing and compliance.

Mr. Goldberg advises numerous non-profit organizations regarding organizational and tax concerns, and assists individuals in estate planning and probate matters, as well as acting as general counsel to closely held businesses outside the health care context. He is a regular speaker at professional and educational meetings.
