Specializing in the defense of medical malpractice claims, Ms. Pico is a 1992 graduate of the University of Nevada (B.A.) and a 1996 graduate of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (J.D.).

She is a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Insurance Law and a Best Brief Finalist in the National Moot Court Competition.

Ms. Pico was admitted to the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California in 1996, and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, in 1998.
