Mr. Zimmerman is a litigator who secured convictions in 97 of 100 trials during his tenure in the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, whose civil practice experience since joining the firm in 1986 has included professional liability defense (medical and legal), commercial litigation in the health care field, and products liability.

Mr. Zimmerman is admitted to practice in California, Texas and Colorado.

He is a graduate of Sonoma State University (B.A. cum laude, 1978) and Hastings College of the Law, University of California (J.D., 1981).

Mr. Zimmerman both speaks and writes on issues arising in his practice, and serves as a Contributing Editor for the C.E.B. Civil Litigation Reporter.
